Hey lovelies, I hope as you read this next post, you have started on your painting journey. I have been practicing with more simple images and decided to crank it up a notch with this charming little shop. I was actually learning this piece from a very talented artist so – Disclaimer – credits of the style goes to her.
To get out of my comfort zone, I dived right in and went for this.
This time I started with drafting the image on the water colour paper.


Then I added the water colour paint on to the image.

I choose this particular image by her – Nianiani because of its quirkiness. It reminds me of a picture in a story book and I really loved the way you learn to add different shades of colours to make the picture come alive.
