Its was winter and I braved it to be at sort after Urban Makers event at
the famous, Old Spitalfield Market.
Urban makers organise and set up pop shops and small business workshops in London. It was founded in 2015 by 2 talented designers and friends, IIka Dickens and Julia Redgrave. Their aim is to help creative people and unique businesses achieve their dreams.
Old spitalfield holds daily markets at Liverpool street, were they showcase small producers and local creatives as well as a few house hold brands.
I have attended a few events there before as a visitor for instance the vintage market and the African market event. Such lovely things; there be ready to spend for sure. At one of my visits to the vintage shows, I found a unique tanned 1980s vintage leather jacket which I adore
and still wearing to date .
I love their markets so much so you can imagine how excited I was when I got the chance to show case and sell my handmade cushions there.

Met such lovely and fun people, so creative with unique gift ideas to choose from. Before I forget; the stalls; how gorgeous were they. Out of all the market events I have been to to date, Old spitalfield had the loveliest. Already I am planning the next one and have ideas of how I would like the stand to be. Inviting and serene.
As I was there with my lovely friend Grace from village and home. We got opportunities to go round and have a look at what other fellow creatives have at their stalls.
I did a little video to share with you my experience.
